Ajit Habbu, Chief Executive OfficerAjit Habbu’s 20-year professional career in Finance started in IBM, where he worked for 15 years and held key leadership positions, including CFO of the Educational Services division. In 1999 Ajit joined Recall Corporation as Senior Vice President and CFO, and was responsible for successfully driving an aggressive expansion program involving more than 50 acquisitions during a five-year period, entering new markets while growing revenues and profits. Mr. Habbu was Chief Financial Officer of Ener1 Group a private group managing portfolio of technology companies. He was also CFO of Ener1 Inc. a public company developing lithium ion batteries and fuel cells for hybrid vehicles. Ener1 is currently traded on the American Stock Exchange (HEV). A native of India, Ajit holds a B.S. degree in Chemical
Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, an
M.S. degree in Systems and Industrial Engineering from the University
of Iowa, and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Financial and International
Business from the University of Chicago. Aditya Habbu, Vice President Business Development Aditya Habbu is currently a JD/MBA at the University
of Chicago. He earned his degree in Mathematics from the University
of Chicago in 2006 and will graduate from the JD/MBA program in
2010. He has spent two summer’s working in the Chicago office
of the international corporate law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher,
and Flom. He is currently working for an emerging market focused
star-up called Micro Energy Credits where is doing financial consulting
for Grameen Shakti, a solar cell microfinance institution in Bangladesh. |
